Jurgen Klopp signs three-year contract with Liverpool [Sky Sports]

Jurgen Klopp has signed a three year contract with Liverpool to take over as manager following Brendan Rodgers’ departure last Sunday.

Sky Germany (an official, trusted source) have been the first to break the news, publishing it on their official website and on their Twitter page as well.

The translated version of the article, reads:

“According to our information , the ex- BVB coach and the English tradition association have agreed to a contract with immediate effect.”

But thankfully, Britain’s Sky Sports have backed up their claims and are confirming that a deal has been reached between FSG and the legendary German manager.

The 48-year-old is set to arrive on Merseyside this evening, and while the news will be confirmed by the club tonight – he’ll be unveiled tomorrow on Friday morning.

Klopp’s been our clear first-choice since Rodgers’ departure, and we’re thankful that the negotiations have gone swimmingly and that the double Bundesliga winning boss is set for the Anfield helm.

The club has yet to confirm the deal but should do by tonight. Sky Sports won’t have made a mistake at this late stage and the celebrations can very almost begin.
