And at the weekend, this brilliant Vine emerged of Joe Allen staring down the man who replaced the manager that christened him ‘The Welsh Xavi’ – Brendan Rodgers.
In fairness, Allen probably has no hard feelings towards Jurgen Klopp, and is excited as the rest of the squad to work under the charismatic German!
It’ll actually be mighty interesting to see whether Klopp utilises Allen, as many Reds used Rodgers’ love of the midfielder as a stick to beat him with.
Klopp brought Allen on with nine minutes to go, and could start him on Thursday if he chooses to rotate the XI in the Europa League versus Rubin Kazan.
