(Video) Klopp: ‘You don’t make world-class goals if you play this shit…’

Jurgen Klopp summed it up better than we could following the Newcastle defeat, by telling the gathered press that Liverpool didn’t deserve for Alberto Moreno’s onside goal to be allowed – because of how dreadfully we performed.

“We made our goal but because we weren’t good enough today the linesman thought: ‘Well, you don’t make world class goals if you play this shit,'” the boss declared!

With Liverpool giving away possession on 124 occasions, we can hardly disagree with Klopp’s assessment.

The Reds next face FC Sion and are 5/4 favourites to beat the Swiss in their own backyard.

Klopp’s expected to deploy a much changed side in the Europa League as Liverpool have already qualified from Group B. Still, Divock Origi, who scored a hat-trick in the League Cup last week against Southampton, Emre Can, Jordan Henderson and possibly a returning Coutinho should have enough to down the Group B minnows.
