Of players who’d expect to be available at the weekend, Alberto Moreno, Lucas, Joe Allen and Jordon Ibe haven’t travelled, while Daniel Sturridge, Mamadou Sakho, Jon Flanagan, Danny Ings and Joe Gomez long-term injuries.
Ibe has an illness (he turned 20 yesterday, didn’t you know…), but should be ready for the weekend.
We’ve already qualified for the next phase of the Europa League, but could do with at least a draw as it will mean an easier draw in the Last 32.
Still, a team made up the 19 players in bold should be enough to beat Sion, who are poor, despite the fact they nicked a draw at Anfield.
