The skipper played centrally with Emre Can in a 4-4-2 and bossed the Tigers throughout. He was first to tackles, made clever interceptions but most importantly – displayed creative flair when in possession – something the rest of our central midfielders have largely struggled to this term.
Now fit, Henderson will be an automatic selection for Jurgen Klopp, whose style he fits perfectly.
