Liverpool handed potential home tie against West Ham in FA Cup

Posted by

We’ve been awarded a home tie against fellow Premier League side West Ham United in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup – if we can beat lowly Exeter City in the replay at Anfield on Wednesday 20th January (via BBC).

The game, which is due to be played on the weekend of 30th January / 1st February, is one of just three potential all-Premier League ties. Crystal Palace vs Stoke City and Wycombe/Aston Villa vs Manchester City make up the other two.

We’ve only played West Ham three times in the cup, with the most recent time being the “Gerrard final” of 2006.

The game will offer Klopp and the boys the perfect chance to get revenge for our poor showing in the 2-0 loss at Upton Park on 2nd January.
