Liverpool have tabled a rather large £24m offer for Alex Teixeira of Shakhtar Donetsk, the Brazilian attacker with 25 goals to his name this season.
His club want close to £38m, so there’s plenty of negotiation to be done, but Ian Ayre is in Florida right now in an attempt to make it happen.
Naturally, Liverpool fans lost their minds on the internet – as hype grew about the potentially very exciting January signing.
