Balotelli could spend second half of the season on loan at Premier League side

This one’s out of the blue, but emerges from Italy with AC Milan reportedly unhappy with Mario Balotelli’s attitude.

(No surprise there…)

Calciomercato – picked up here by the Birmingham Mail – claim the Italian striker could be sent back to parent club Liverpool, with a groin injury and poor recent performances meaning AC Milan are happy to cut his loan spell short.

In Serie A this term, he’s started just two matches, stuck very much behind Carlos Bacca in the pecking order.

The report suggests that West Brom could be interested in signing the controversial forward on loan until the summer if this proves to be the case, while West Ham are also credited with an interest.

The thought of Balotelli back at Melwood scares us quite frankly, and we’d much rather he’d stay out of the way in Italy.

He was a disruptive presence during his season at Liverpool and possesses none of the work-rate necessary to succeed under Jurgen Klopp.

It does however seem very unlikely that Tony Pulis would want a striker like Balotelli for similar reasons, and are therefore taking this story with a large pinch of salt.
