Divock Origi gives his thoughts on Valentines Day kiss

Divock Origi has been speaking about THAT kiss he got off an adoring fan on Valentines Day.

Origi scored less than a minute after coming on at Villa Park, and got a smacker right on the lips of a member of the Travelling Kop.

“Let’s say he was emotional! I could feel the love, definitely,” said the striker (via Echo).

“I turned and the first thing I saw was the fans. They were so happy and I wanted to celebrate with them.

“I think maybe on Valentine’s Day they were a little bit more emotional so I had some kisses, but it was nice to see.

“I think the supporters of Liverpool are very passionate and for us to be able to give something back to them is wonderful. I think it’s a big plus for the club also.”

Origi has been in fine form since Klopp’s arrival. He initially struggled under Rodgers, but Klopp has shown faith in him and has been handsomely repaid as the striker has scored five goals in 12 appearances – including a hat-trick against Southampton in the League Cup quarter-final.

“We all had a good feeling. Even before (the game) I had an interview and I told them that I’ve seen positive things in this group and for the rest of the season also. I think this could be the start of something nice,” he added.
