Klopp on Augsburg 0-0 Liverpool: “I am not a patient man”

Posted by

Klopp has been speaking to the media in the aftermath of our 0-0 draw with Ausgburg on Thursday night, telling the gathered reporters that he was not “100 percent” happy with the performance.

“We should be realistic about the result, that’s OK in a European away game. We could have scored goals but as a performance I am not satisfied.

“We fight for consistency and played like this in the game, but we always let them come back in the game and that’s not necessary. I’m not 100% happy about this game.

“My problem is that, with our quality, we should have had more. I have to be patient, but I’m not a patient man, not really. My feeling is we could have done better.” (via BBC)

Liverpool 0-0 Augsburg – report

We must wait until next Thursday to find a winner – with the second leg taking place at Anfield just three days before the League Cup final.

Let’s just hope we can wrap it up in 90 minutes and we don’t have to play extra time for the third time in a month.
