(Video) Two great moments from last night: Can’s pirouette & Allen’s Suarez-esque effort!

Liverpool battered Manchester City last night, with the visitors lucky to be on the end of a 3-0 Anfield drubbing.

Our ground remains the only Premier League stadium they haven’t won at since their takeover.

Goals and assists from James Milner, Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino secured us the game, but there were a number of moments that almost gave us as much joy.

Two of note spring to mind:

Emre Can’s pirouette in central midfield which showed how much skill the young German actually has, and Joe Allen’s long-range effort which echoed Luis Suarez’s most famous Liverpool goal against Norwich.

Allen’s been heavily linked with a summer exit, but has become somewhat of a cult-hero since Jurgen Klopp took charge. If this had found the back of the net, all hell would have broken loose!
