Liverpool could still make the top four this season
Seven players got a majority sell (or release) vote, and below, we’ve listed them and whether or not we agree.
Adam Bogdan – 92.7% want him to leave
Proof that players shouldn’t be signed on the back of good performance against Liverpool. Bogdan’s been nothing short of grim whenever he’s featured this term. Nowhere near good enough, even as a backup stopper.

Christian Benteke – 84.2% want him to leave
It’s not Benteke’s fault that his attributes don’t suit our style, and it’s not Jurgen Klopp’s fault we spent £32.5m on the Belgian before he took the job. But the match simply doesn’t work. Klopp’s relegated Benteke to fourth choice striker, and Danny Ings could usurp him as well eventually. Let’s maximise profit in the summer.

Simon Mignolet – 78.3% want him to leave
Liverpool need a goalkeeper who isn’t a topic of conversation. A keeper whose performances are not analysed every week because he simply does his job properly. Mignolet’s made ten mistakes too many this season. Let’s buy Marc Andre-ter Stegen before someone else does.

Joe Allen – 63.5% want him to leave
For us, Allen’s a very handy squad player. He doesn’t kick off when he’s left out but provides good midfield cover. He’s tidy in possession and has put in some top performances under Klopp. Under the German in fact, he’s added an attacking element to his game.

Alberto Moreno – 59.1% want him to leave
We shouldn’t give up on the Spaniard just yet… Yes, Jon Flanagan needs to take his spot in the team for now, which will take Moreno out of the firing line. At 23, he deserves a full pre-season under Klopp. The left-back is quick, offensive and often exciting – he just needs to develop between the ears.

Kolo Toure – 54.5% want him to leave
Kolo’s been awesome since signing for us on a free a few years back. Sadly, with Joel Matip arriving this summer, he’s surplus to requirements. He’ll have the new Cameroonian, Martin Skrtel, Dejan Lovren, Mamadou Sakho and Joe Gomez ahead of him in the pecking order.

Joao Teixeira – 54.2% want him to leave
A talented player, but just not quite talented enough to cut the Anfield mustard. He probably hasn’t been given enough chances, but at 23, he’s not a youngster anymore and needs first-team football. Let him go and maximise his potential.
