Liverpool striker and occasional Subway ambassador Daniel Sturridge gave the sandwich giant his ultimate 5-a-side team today, and chose two former Chelsea team-mates, two Reds and himself!

Ignoring a goalkeeper, Sturridge chose to select Ashley Cole as his sole defender, before having his former skipper Steven Gerrard bossing the midfield. After very slight deliberation he went for Eden Hazard and Coutinho on the wings and himself up top.

But seriously Daniel – Hazard over Luis Suarez – the striker you had such a jaw-dropping partnership with? Come on!

Hazard, nor any Chelsea players are in Suarez’s league, and our former Uruguayan is probably only second to Lionel Messi in the world right now.

In 2014, an article broke in the Daily Mail saying Sturridge never liked Suarez despite their excellent partnership, which was backed up Jamie Carragher in the Mirror!
