Oh dear.
Martin Skrtel came on at half-time for Dejan Lovren and played abysmally, conceding a penalty and playing apart in the three goals Southampton scored which have effectively ruined our chances of a top four spot.
Liverpool played brilliantly in the first-half, but totally bottled it in the second and fell to a 3-2 defeat.
The Slovakian must take most of the blame.
@LFC this is what happen when Skrtel came on

Make no doubt, it all started by Martin Skrtel coming on. Uncertainty. #LFC

Skrtel’s completely changed the momentum of our defence. #LFC

Genuinelly do not understand how Skrtel gets the nod over Toure. Toure played and been great. Skrtel been sent off for U21’s.

Defence falling apart here with Skrtel…

Skrtel leave

Martin Skrtel has been at Liverpool for nearly a decade. Scandalous how that’s been allowed to happen
— Ü (@ThoseScouseLads) March 20, 2016
3 mistakes and a penalty. Just a standard afternoon for Martin Skrtel.
— The Anfield Chat (@TheAnfieldChat) March 20, 2016
I never want to see Martin Skrtel in a Liverpool shirt again. We’ve literally conceded 3 goals in 40 odd minutes since he’s come on.
— Anfield Hub (@AnfieldHub) March 20, 2016
An absolute disgrace, this. Skrtel should never wear the shirt again. Single handedly ruined our season here and any chance of top 4.

Martin Skrtel was out of his depth playing for the U21s. Think that shows just how bad he can be.
