Philippe Coutinho has been voted Liverpool’s Player of the Month for March after another series of dazzling and match-winning displays for the Reds.
As Liverpool’s official website confirms, the Brazilian playmaker beat fellow nominees Adam Lallana, Emre Can and Roberto Firmino to the monthly prize.

March was arguably the best of Lallana’s Anfield career as he continues to make forward strides under Jurgen Klopp, but Coutinho is a very deserving winner.
The 23-year-old scored two goals in four appearances, including a magnificent solo effort in our Europa League last-16 aggregate victory over Manchester United.
Coutinho has also started this month with a bang, combining beautifully with Daniel Sturridge for the opening goal in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur.
He now has three goals in his last three games and a career-best 10 for the season, and Coutinho has attributed his scoring form to his new position off the left.
He told Liverpool’s official website: “I am happy, as I always say when I receive this award. It is very rewarding for me and it gives me confidence to continue to work hard and achieve positive things.
“I know that in the position I play I have to create chances, score and that is something I have to improve, I try to improve. I know I have to improve it. It is something I search for. I hope I am getting better at it and that I am helping my teammates.
“Perhaps in that position [on the left], when I suddenly cut inside space opens up giving me the opportunity to try to score. I think the team has been playing well and that, of course, helps everybody. I hope I continue getting better, I am trying to learn from the coach and my teammates so I can play better and help them.”
