It’s official: Liverpool have a gem in their hands in Sheyi Ojo.
The starlet has been lighting up the Under-21 league and got a Premier League debut today against Stoke as a reward. In the first-half, Ojo capped a promising performance with a sublime assist, leaving Xherdan Shaqiri for dead and standing the ball up perfectly at the back post for Daniel Sturridge to nod in.
It’s fair to say that Reds on Twitter found it pretty exciting!
People always talk about moments of real quality being the difference. Been few and far between for us all season. Ojo just delivered that.

Ojo has got great natural attributes- pace, strength etc. but that delivery for Sturridge’s goal is quality. Puts it on a plate.

Shaqiri’s life flashed before his eyes when Ojo skinned him.

If Ojo can cross like his assist routinely, maybe we give Benteke another chance #LFC
