Sheyi Ojo is one of this season’s breakout players.

Along with the likes of Kevin Stewart, Brad Smith, Connor Randall, and Danny Ward, Ojo has managed to make a name for himself in the first team since Klopp’s arrival – and he now looks like he could be destined for big things under the German’s guidance.

The youngster’s emergence has not escaped the attention of former England star Ian Wright, who has come out and praised the 18-year-old.

“I remember we [BBC Sport] did the FA Cup game when Liverpool played Exeter on this quagmire of a pitch and seeing Ojo with his beautiful left foot,” said Wright (via Echo).

“He’s got this calm demeanour about him.

“I am so excited about him and want to see what he’s like in bigger games, more intensified.”

Ojo spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Wolves, but was recalled by our new manager during the January transfer window.

He has now played in Premier League games against West Ham, Southampton, Stoke, and Bournemouth, along with FA Cup games against West Ham and Exeter (x2).
