Poem : The Long Road

For 27 years & 11 days,
For justice they fought.
The Families never went away,
Even when times were fraught.

The empty seat and room,
A reminder of their loss.
To worsen their gloom,
Lies were spread across.

To protect the guilty,
The establishment lied.
They acted quickly,
The innocent were defiled.

A decision made in seconds,
96 lives the price.
At last justice beckons,
The victims can rest in peace.
