Joe Allen will surely get his contract extended this summer, right?
The Welshman, donning a top-knot hair-do for the first time, ran the show during the first-half of Liverpool v Watford today at Anfield, winning the ball back and playing clever passes at will.
Under Jurgen Klopp he plays a much more advanced role than he did under Brendan Rodgers and it really suits. After 35 minutes, he got himself onto the end of a Christian Benteke knock down and squeezed the ball past Heurelho Gomes.
Top stuff from Allen, who has barely put a foot wrong when called upon during the second-half of this campaign.
