Our kit manufacturers New Balance have just unveiled the new home strip for the 2015/16 season (yep – only one season, don’t you just love modern football?!).
The grand reveal took place in the spring sunshine in front of the world-famous famous Royal Liver Building on Monday evening.
Club captain Jordan Henderson, ‘keeper Simon Mignolet, Brazilian Philippe Coutinho, and local lad Jon Flanagan were the senior players on stage, though legends such as Robbie Fowler and Jason McAteer were also involved, as were some of the Ladies side and youth players.

We think the new look is pretty solid. It’s not got any fancy patterns, garish colours, or ugly sponsorship logos, with the only quirk being a button on the collar. The return to yellow trim is better than the old white trim as well – Liverpool’s second colour should always be yellow or grey, and this is a nod to that.
