Arsenal HAVE triggered Jamie Vardy’s £22m release clause, which for a 29-year-old, seems very un-Arsene Wenger but is interesting nonetheless.
John Cross in the Mirror wrote that Liverpool also joined the hunt and were prepared to offer the Leicester City striker outrageous £140k-per-week wages, but this was declared nonsense by the Echo and every other paper we trust.
So, are Liverpool fans happy we’re not involved in the chase, or should we have tested the waters for the former Conference forward…?
