Can discusses Germany hopes – describes difference between Klopp and Low

Emre Can is gearing up for his first major international tournament, less than a year on after breaking into the German side and making his debut.

Although Can will probably be deployed at full-back rather than in midfield for the reigning world champions, the whole experience is one he’s keen to learn from.

When asked to describe the difference between his two bosses, Can was emphatic.

“They are different, very different,” he said (via official site)

“Jürgen Klopp is more emotional and always screaming, but Joachim Low is a very calm person.

“[Klopp] just wants to help us and that’s why he’s screaming!”

Can’s Germany go into the Euros as one of the favourites, and our midfield man thinks they can do well.

“We have a very young squad in the national team [but] we have a good mix with experienced players,” he explained.

“We are world champions and our target has to be win the Euros. Everybody knows Germany is a tournament team so we will see what happens.

“A few players changed, of course, but a lot of players are still there and they know how to win the title. That’s what we want to do in France as well.”

Germany start their tournament on Sunday when they face Ukraine in Lille.
