Liverpool will send midfielder on loan due to work-permit complications

Liverpool and our management team have very high hopes for young Brazilian Allan Rodrigues de Souza, but fans will have to wait another year to see him in action for the first-team, sadly.

This is because he still cannot get a work-permit to play in England, despite two loan spells last term with Finnish champions SJK and Belgian outfit Sint-Truiden.

According to the Echo, Liverpool are now looking for an appropriate club to aid Allan’s development and future application for a permit.

We acquired the teenage playmaker last summer from Internacional, and in training, he’s wowed Jurgen Klopp – who spoke incredibly highly of Allan back in March.

“I saw him in training and I thought ‘oh my God, what can we do to keep this boy here and bring him into the line-up?” he told the Echo. “He’s 19 years old, an outstanding talent, a good player with a good attitude, everybody loves him, he’s a nice lad – so that’s really, really good. He’s a smart player.”

Allan has a sweet left-foot and has the ability to spray beautiful diagonal passes from deep. Technically, he’s outstanding, and we hope to see him make big progress during 2016/17. Wherever Liverpool decide to send the Brazilian, we’ll be keeping a very close eye on him.
