Jordon Ibe has officially left the club after Bournemouth confirmed the player had passed his medical and agreed personal terms.

According to the Echo, the fee has not been disclosed – but it is believed to be around £15 million.

Ibe scored four goals in 58 games for us since joining from Wycombe Wanderers as a 16-year-old back in 2011.

It was hoped he’d have been able to step up and fill Raheem Sterling’s boots after the England winger left for Man City in a £49 million move last summer, but he lacked consistency last season and by May had fallen behind Sheyi Ojo in the pecking order.

Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said: “We’re delighted to bring Jordon to the football club.

“He played plenty of football with Liverpool last season and we’re looking forward to seeing him to continue to grow now with us, he’s a huge prospect.”

It is thought the deal includes both a sell-on and buy-back clause.
