Sheji Ojo will link up with his Liverpool teammates in the United States after England U19s were beaten 2-1 by Italy in the European Championships.
Two goals by Federico Dimarco either side of half-time put the Italians in control, and a late own goal by Alberto Picchi was little more than a consolation for the Three Lions.
Ojo started the game on the bench, but was introduced for Tammy Abraham with half an hour remaining when the score was still only 1-0.

It is now thought Ojo will fly out to America to join the rest of the first team squad on tour.
Before the Euros started he admitted that as soon as the competition was over he’d immediately get on a plane.
“I am using this tournament as the start of a new season. Hopefully we get to the final and win it and we will be done on the 24th or 25th of July,” he said.
“Then I am going straight to America after to meet up with the Liverpool.” (via Mirror)

Italy will now play France in Sunday’s final.
