Daniel Sturridge, James Milner, and Marko Grujic are all facing a race against time in their bid to be fit for our trip to North London on Sunday.

The Premier League roars back into life this weekend, and while the Gunners’ defensive injury crisis is well-documented, we are also going to be missing a number of key men.

According to the Echo, neither Milner nor Sturridge have featured in training this week.

Sturridge missed last weekend’s friendly double-header with a hip injury, Milner was injured against Barcelona on Saturday, and Grujic went off injured against Mainz on Sunday.

Apparently, they are all being monitored day-to-day and none of them have been ruled out at this stage.

If Sturridge cannot make the game, either Origi or Firmino is likely to lead the line against Wenger’s men, while either Henderson or Wijnaldum will partner Can in the midfield.
