Borussia Dortmund reject £11 million bid for Christian Pulisic

Borussia Dortmund have rejected our initial offer of £11 million for American teenager, Christian Pulisic.

According to Kicker, the club’s sporting director, Michael Zorc, has hinted that a deal might still progress – depending on the terms.

Dortmund beat Mainz 2-1 at the weekend as Pulisic was an unused sub.

Klopp’s old side have added Andre Schurrle, Mario Gotze, Ousmane Dembele and Emre Mor in attacking midfield during the summer, meaning he now faces a huge competition for places.

He worked with Klopp when our boss was still at Dortmund. Indeed, it was Klopp who promoted him from the first team to the senior team when he was just 16.

The Express say that even if we cannot get a deal across the line during this summer transfer window – which closes in 48 hours – we will continue to monitor his progress going forward.
