Reliable journalist says Mario Balotelli has decided on his future – move to France imminent

Posted by

Mario Balotelli has reportedly decided to sign for Nice in France’s Ligue Un.

According to Paul Joyce in the Express, the deal will be concluded before Wednesday’s transfer deadline.

He was also considering offers from FC Sion in Switzerland and his hometown club of Palmero, but his agent Mino Raiola will wrap up terms with the French side in the coming hours.

It means Balotelli will finally be off our books after an utterly dismal 24 months with the club.

In his debut season he made 28 appearances – mostly as a sub – and scored four goals. Only one of those four came in the league.

Last term he was on loan at former club AC Milan, but was just as bad. Yet again, he only managed one league goal all season.

He has been linked with inummerable clubs all summer, but at long last it looks like the saga is at an end.

Joyce does not mention the possible fee.
