Ask any Liverpool fan this simple question: “Would you ever consider getting a Man Utd tattoo”, and you can only imagine the torrent of abuse you’d probably receive.
However, one Man Utd fan has answered the reverse of that question with a resounding “Yes!”. That’s right, die-hard United fan Wayne Ryan, who is a season ticket holder at Old Trafford, will soon have our club crest permanently emblazoned upon his leg.

It begs one simple question — WHY?!
Actually, the answer is a heart-warming one. One of Wayne’s family friends has a four-year-old child who has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia – and he’s getting the tattoo in a bid to raise £1,500 and help pay for her treatment.
Apparently, he’s bagged himself a ‘buyout clause’ — he will be allowed to remove the ink after a year (via Echo).
But you never know, he might grow to love it!
