The Wembley Cup is like a much worse version of Soccer Aid, with less big name players, less attention and worse celebrities – but with Jamie Carragher – you knew it’d get interesting.
It’s organised by phone company EE and had the backing of EA, looking to promote FIFA 17.
Basically two sides, each captained by a ‘YouTuber’ played out a 7-4 result, with Robert Pires and Patrick Kluivert also featuring.

Our legendary centre-back took an intense disliking to YouTuber Joe Weller (look him up, we had to…), and put in a number of late tackles on the cocky youngster!
Following this one, Weller stayed down – but instead of helping him up (it was a charity game, remember), Carra called him a ‘stupid little p****’ and went about his business!
