It’s common knowledge that Liverpool did all they can to force Mamadou Sakho out on loan this summer, with Jurgen Klopp wanting the centre-back to prove his form and fitness before returning to Anfield after a string of injuries and disciplinary issues…
However, the fans’ favourite rejected loan advances (and there were countless), risking a season on the sidelines at Liverpool instead.
Paul Joyce confirmed in the Express that Klopp’s allowed him to train again, much to the delight of fans who didn’t want Mama to leave. That group will be equally pleased by a picture taken on Liverpool’s SnapChat, showing Sakho modelling the club’s winter clothing line.

This doesn’t obviously mean he’s immediately back in favour, but it does suggest he’s not being frozen out completely – and is hopefully now being the chance to resurrect his Liverpool career.
It’ll take time and Sakho has some making up to do, but we back a man with his determination, passion and ability to do it.
