Jurgen Klopp has picked up his first silverware of the season.
Ok, not quite, but he’s at least won recognition from his peers after last weekend’s 2-1 win over Chelsea.
According to the official site, our victory was named as the “League Managers Association’s Performance of the Week”.
The German became the first manager in 19 years – since Arsene Wenger – to win his first two away games at Stamford Bridge.
The panel of judges included Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, and Barry Fry. The decision is taken via a majority vote.

The win saw us turn in a stunning first half performance. Lovren scored his first Premier League goal in a red shirt in the 17th minute, before Hendo’s wonder strike doubled our advantage before the break.
Diego Costa pulled one back for them midway through the second half.
In the aftermath of the game Lovren called it our best performance of the season.
