In case you missed it, Liverpool have been handed a home tie against Spurs in the next round of the League Cup.
On the positive side, it’s at home. On the negative side, it’s against a strong Premier League side.
Spurs will probably be more inclined to play a youth team than us – they have Champions League games and will not want to be distracted from that competition and the league.

Klopp has already shown a willingness to be more aggressive in his team selections that a lot of Premier League sides in the competition – fielding the likes of Emre Can and Roberto Firmino in our 5-0 win over Burton, then following that up by picking Jordan Henderson and Philippe Coutinho against Derby in midweek.
The game against Spurs will be shown live on SkySports and will kick off at 7.45 pm on Tuesday 25th October. The date puts the game between the home game against West Brom and the away game at Palace.
