Liverpool players dominate Premier League Power Rankings; 4 Reds in Top 10

This symbolises not just the fact we’ve been winning football matches this term, but the fact we’ve been ripping teams apart, too.

We sit on 13 points from six matches, which isn’t actually reflective of how well we’ve done because we’ve already played Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Leicester City – winning three and drawing one of those four fixtures. The only blot on our copybook was the 2-0 away loss to Burnley, which was seemingly just one of those days.

Sky Sports publish a list of ‘Power Rankings’ after every weekend, which is a complex scoring system of individual players based on their performances. Footballers score points for the stats they wrack up; such as goals, assists, passes, tackles, dribbles, interceptions and everything in between.

Sadio Mane, Coutinho, Adam Lallana and James Milner are all rated in the Premier League’s top 10 best players so far. Jordan Henderson comes in at no.14, with Roberto Firmino no.23. Not bad at all! What we love most about this is it’s clear we don’t rely on one or two superstars to carry us, but a number of excellent team players who are firing us to big wins.
