The 18-year-old made his debut for Liverpool last night in the EFL Cup victory over Tottenham and put in a mightily impressive performance from right-back. His pace and physicality belie his years, while he’s technically astute to boot.
In fact, he’s already good enough to be considered a primary backup option to Clyne and we’d actually consider him a much better long-term option than Flanagan – currently on loan at Burnley.
