Luis Garcia expertly trolls Chelsea with magnificent Halloween costume

Luis Garcia has just won Halloween. Officially. Forever.

Don’t know what we’re talking about? Just take a look at his post on Instagram earlier today:

“Happy Halloween!! Some will find it funny..others Scary!” reads the caption.

Of course, it doesn’t take a genius to work out what Garcia’s costume is referring to — it’s THAT goal in the Champions League semi-final second leg at Anfield in 2005.

Garcia put us 1-0 up in the game, with a goal that Mourinho still queries to this day. It was never proved whether or not the ball crossed the line. Of course, if it wasn’t allowed, Petr Cech would have been sent off and we’d have been given a penalty. But that doesn’t seem to matter to the then Chelsea boss.

The goal was enough to send us through to the final in Istanbul and the rest is history. It took Chelsea another seven years before getting their hands on the famous trophy.
