Reds defender hails club’s incredible global support

For many, the scale of Liverpool’s support across the world fails to come as a shock anymore however it is still something that continues to excite new arrivals at the club.

Reds defender Dejan Lovren has hailed the amazing support for Liverpool that is seen across the globe and has described his reaction to what he experienced in the club’s 2015 pre-season tour of Asia.

Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, he said: “The support is positive crazy! People live for the club. It was something new for me, because it was my first pre-season with the club.”

“It was not a shock but I couldn’t believe how many fans were living for this club. I saw some people sleeping in front of the hotel before we came. They were screaming and everything – amazing.”

The fans are part of what makes this club so special, without question.

It is a family environment at Liverpool- something which is demonstrated by the impact the Anfield crowd can have on our team’s performance.
