Promising Liverpool youngster set for Anfield departure as he looks for first-team football

The transfer window is well and truly underway and already we have seen a handful of names linked to both a move to and away from the club.

Early outgoings often suggests plans have been place for some time with Reds youngster Pedro Chirivella emerging as the latest player strongly believed to be leaving Merseyside. Only on a temporary basis, it seems.

The Liverpool Echo have reported: “Liverpool midfielder Pedro Chirivella is close to agreeing a loan move to Dutch club Go Ahead Eagles.”

His potential departure coincides with reports suggesting fellow midfielder Kevin Stewart could also be on his way out of Anfield with a mix of Premier League and Championship sides rumoured to be chasing his signature.

Chirivella is yet to feature under Jurgen Klopp this season having made four appearances under the German during the previous campaign.

Klopp remains to be an admirer of the Spaniard and is clearly intent on giving him every opportunity to gain some valuable playing time elsewhere in the hope he will return as a player more capable of challenging for a call-up to the first team.

The 19-year-old has performed well in the U23s side up until now and has shown signs of moulding into a neat and composed central midfielder. A loan move will benefit him a lot in terms of helping him take his game to a higher level.
