Liverpool youth star Trent Alexander-Arnold has very quickly become a role model to youngsters after demonstrating the kind of attitude that all upcoming players should have.

The 18-year-old has shown the levels of maturity and determination that will go hand in hand with his undeniable talent in setting him up for a promising future.

It seems that Jurgen Klopp’s insistence on always looking ahead has rubbed off on the West Derby-born player with the teenager showing his desire to continue improving and his recognition for the hard work that is ahead.

Speaking in an interview alongside fellow youth prospects Ovie Ejaria and Ben Woodburn, he told Liverpoolfc.com: “I think it’s nice to get the admiration we get, but we can’t let it get to our heads.”

“We’ve got to stay humble and keep our feet on the ground because I think all three of us know that we’ve still got a real long way to go to being first-team regulars, and a lot of hard work and sacrifices ahead of us, and that’s what we’re doing.”

“Sacrificing most days going out with our friends to work hard and keep focused and try to get better every day that we can.”

There is a lot of excitement surrounding what this young man is capable of after a run of impressive cup performances, including a standout display in November’s win over Leeds.

Optimism surrounding him has been justified up until now and that is only going to continue if he persists to work with this mentality.
