Marco Silva raves about Liverpool & Jurgen Klopp ahead of Saturday’s tie

Hull are odds on to be relegated this season, but Liverpool are not playing them at the best time…

Since Marco Silva took over, they’ve beaten Manchester United at home and drawn to them at Old Trafford. They also beat Bournemouth and Swansea and now have a real fighting chance of staying up.

We obliterated the Tigers earlier on this season at Anfield, but that was when everything was going swimmingly. Now, Liverpool are on a run of one win in nine matches in all competitions and are in desperate need of three points to resurrect our push for the top four.

Silva knows it’ll be tough.

As reported by Sky Sports, he said: “The players are starting to understand what I want. It is important, I give confidence to the squad.

“Liverpool are a great team with a great coach. To take points tomorrow, we will need to maintain our performance levels.”

Hull will be without Lazar Markovic as the Serbian winger is ineligible due to us loaning him during the transfer window last month, but have new signings Grosicki, N’Diaye and Ranocchia available.

Time will tell if they hit the ground running, but hopefully, we’ll be able to break down what’s likely to be a very stubborn defence.

We’ve struggled badly against teams who sit deep and give us the ball, but that’s the kind of match we’re expecting at the KC Stadium. Hopefully with Sadio Mane back from the AFCON, we’ll have the added option of pace and dynamism that could make the difference.
