Last night, Liverpool supporters on Twitter entered collective meltdown, as it was revealed by La Liga journalist Rik Sharma that our owner John W. Henry was sat in Barcelona’s box watching their 2-1 victory over Leganes.
There’s been no official reason for his trip to the Nou Camp revealed, although this didn’t stop fans speculating on Twitter last night.
Many believed he was there to negotiate Coutinho’s sale in the summer, while some predicted it could actually be Jurgen Klopp joining Barcelona.
More positive, hopeful Reds suggested he could be organising a transfer the other way round for Neymar or Luis Suarez!
Now that would be pretty exciting, wouldn’t it?!
