Liverpool speak to agent of Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’; wing-forward desperate for switch says reliable source

Liverpool are interested in Anderlecht owned Mahmoud Hazzan ‘Trezeguet’, reports reliable Egyptian source filgoal.com.

The source breaks news of nearly every big Egyptian player and their transfers before European journalists get their hands on the story. They broke Salah to Roma, Elneny to Arsenal and Ramadan to Stoke, for example – so we trust there’s something in this.

Despite his nickname belonging to a legendary French centre-forward, this Trezeguet plays on the left-wing, and starred there for Egypt at the AFCON.

He’s currently on loan at the worst side in the Belgian top division, RS Mouscron, where he’s scored and assisted four goals each so far this term – a half decent return from 19 games.

Liverpool must consider Turkish sensation Hakan Calhanoglu this summer

At 22-years-old, he’s not exactly a youngster, but Jurgen Klopp made of habit of signing unknown quantities at Borussia Dortmund and developing them into serious footballers. Shiniji Kagawa and Robert Lewandowski arrived with no reputation whatsoever, for instance.

The report suggests we’ve not made a bid but have spoken to the player’s representatives, who have assured us their client would jump at the chance to move (obviously).

Until this morning, we’d never heard of this player, so can’t provide much more information! From YouTube clips alone he appears quick, very right-footed and nimble – but remember – Oussama Assaidi looked like Maradona’s more talented brother via this medium!
