LFC rocked: Bayern do €30m deal for Brandt

Now, we don’t trust Bild’s word as sacrosanct – not by a long shot – but the fact they’re claiming Julian Brandt to Bayern Munich is a done a deal is worrying.

He’s Liverpool’s top target for the summer and someone Jurgen Klopp has urged the club to sign, but the German publication are claiming he’s already told friends he’s signing for Bayern, who’ve agreed a €30m deal with Bayer Leverkusen.

The perennial German champions have a habit of buying all German talent and have already secured Niklas Sule and Sebastian Rudy for the summer, but it appears they may have also won the race for Brandt.

Borussia Dortmund confirmed Mahmoud Dahoud yesterday and if Bayern really have finalised the Brandt deal, it proves we’re in for a long summer.

Klopp has reportedly been given a monstrous transfer fund, but this doesn’t stop other clubs trumping us for targets. If Brandt is a no-go, we need to brush ourselves down and make sure we don’t miss out on the next earmarked attacker.
