Is Douglas Costa signing for Liverpool?
We have absolutely no idea, although if his social media activity during the past few days is anything to go by, we’re certainly not bottom of the Brazilian’s wish-list…
Yesterday, he liked a tweet which suggested a perfect Liverpool frontline for next season, featuring the Bayern Munich winger, our two Brazilians and Sadio Mane.
Today, he followed Lucas and Coutinho on the social network, which has naturally sent fans into overdrive…
So if the wonderful did happen and Costa was somehow snared, how could Liverpool look at full strength in 2017/18?

Jurgen Klopp has no plans to replace his fullbacks or keeper, but wants to bring in a new centre-back, with Virgil van Dijk the no.1 target. If we acquire the Dutchman, he could line up alongside Joel Matip at the back.
Centrally, in order to fit in the brilliant attackers, we’ve had to leave out Emre Can, Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum! Klopp would rarely do this as the team needs balance and stability, but with Naby Keita at the base of midfield, it has energy and defensive nous.
The Guinean currently plies his trade for Red Bull Leipzig and would be a terrific addition centrally.
His signing could allow Coutinho and Adam Lallana to fulfil creative, pressing roles either side, with Douglas Costa and Sadio Mane flanking Roberto Firmino ahead!
We’ve struggled at home to bottom-half sides this season, but surely this outfit would put them to the sword?!
