Liverpool could battle Everton/Atletico for 14-goal Spanish 21-year-old hotshot

There are a number of clubs considering summer bids for Malaga’s Sandro Ramirez, with his manager admitting he’s likely to depart in the upcoming transfer window.

Estadio Deportivo claim Liverpool and Newcastle want the 21-year-old, while the Star moots Spurs, Southampton and our rivals Everton with an interest.

This term he’s notched 14 La Liga goals, prompting Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone to make him a target as well.

Malaga boss Michel reluctantly accepts Sandro Ramirez will leave if he wants to.

“We cannot keep him if he doesn’t want to continue,” he said.

“We can’t do anything more than all the efforts we have made, and all we have to do is wait for his decision.”

Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has explained more on the situation:

“He is linked to five clubs, three of them in the Premier League,” he told Sky Sports.

“He is a player that has definitely caught the attention of many.

“Atletico Madrid want him as well so he will see what happens with their transfer ban.”

Former Barcelona striker Sandro is powerful, feisty and possesses a superb shot. His La Masia upbringing means he can play intricate through-ball, but his strength and tenacity would hopefully suit the Premier League.

We’re not exactly sure where he’d fit in a Jurgen Klopp squad anyway though, in fairness – and wouldn’t be too disappointed if he signed for another Premier League side and we focussed our attentions on more telling positions.
