Liverpool are currently blessed with the most talented and exciting batch of youth stars that the club has seen in years.

A notable ‘quality not quantity’ approach to somewhat reconstructing the youth setup has left the Reds with a group of upcoming stars all with the potential to push for first team opportunities over the next few seasons.

Several members of the U23s have already become familiar faces to fans having featured for Jurgen Klopp’s senior side on a number of occasions during the 2016/2017 campaign.

While the first team was busy fighting for a top four spot, the youth sides were otherwise occupied producing some scintillating football and scoring some sublime goals.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s emphatic strike in the mini-derby win over Everton, Ben Woodburn’s calm finish after an explosive counter-attack against Reading and Rafael Camacho’s stunner versus Wolves make up the pick of the best Academy goals, as voted for by LFCTV.

It won’t be long before Anfield plays stage to some of these talented youngsters finding the back of the net in style on a regular basis. There remains an unyielding belief that the likes of Alexander-Arnold and Woodburn in particular could prove to be valuable squad players for Klopp next season.
