Robbie Fowler tips Liverpool starlet for exciting future and suggests club will soon need him

Praise for Trent Alexander-Arnold is never too far away lately thanks to the Liverpool’s youngsters outstanding breakthrough season.

The Reds have been blessed by the emergence of a technically gifted future first team regular already working with the perfect mentality and driven by the dreams of starring for his boyhood club.

Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has been the latest to pay tribute to the teenager, tipping him to be an Anfield success and also commending Jurgen Klopp for giving him his opportunity to impress.

“He has probably got every attribute to be a top player. His attitude, will and drive are what we want as Liverpool supporters. He has got that in abundance,” he told Liverpoolfc.com.

“I can see a big future for him. Regardless of whether you’re a local lad or a young lad coming into the game, you want to do well first and foremost.”

“Maybe the fact that he is young and a lot of people in the Kop and the crowd at Anfield see a little bit of themselves in him drives him on a little bit more. It certainly did with me. I was playing for what I think is the greatest team in the world. For a young local lad to be doing that was brilliant.”

“Trent and a few of the other ones are getting chances now and we give Jürgen a little bit of credit for getting the youngsters involved, because we’re probably going to need them in a year or two.”

The 18-year-old marks undoubtedly one of the most promising youth stars this club has had on the books for some time and could well save Liverpool millions of pounds in the next few years.

Everything is in place for him to mould into a Premier League star with his physical and technical attributes having not only seen him look a class above his opponents for the U23s but also look more than comfortable in outings for the first team.

He is a serious talent with the grounded mindset and will to improve that has already made him a young role model at the club.
