Mo Salah’s agent hints at LFC move as he boards plane to England

Social media activity by players and agents is by no means the most reliable evidence that a transfer will or will not happen – especially when it involves Liverpool…

Memphis Depay followed us and liked us on Instagram before joining Manchester United, Alex Teixeira told the world he adored Liverpool before moving to China for the money and a few weeks back Douglas Costa did something similar – but that one’s gone quiet, too…

Last night, Mohamed Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas (who we’ve tried to contact for comment) started liking Liverpool on Twitter, before uploading tickets of his plane journey to London.

The only other club he likes is Roma and Liverpool have offices in London where we often do negotiations with those arriving from the continent or further afield.

Last term, Salah scored a total of 19 goals and registered 15 assists in all competitions. Considering Coutinho got 13 and six, the Egyptian’s return is phenomenal and he’s undeniably a far superior player than the one who left Chelsea for Italy a few years back.

There is of course the controversy that he turned us down in January 2014, but for a player that possesses such pace, skill and trickery, we think we can forgive this should a transfer be on the cards.

Only time will tell of course if the agent is fanning flames or if there’s a genuine possibility the 24-year-old is Liverpool bound.
