Liverpool linked with outrageously uninspiring £10m striker…

In 2014, Liverpool sold Luis Suarez and signed Rickie Lambert and Mario Balotelli in his place.

That, was disappointing, but if we bring in Anderlecht’s Lukasz Teodorczyk this summer, when Jurgen Klopp’s supposed to have a transfer war-chest at his disposal, we’ll despair.

The Polish international plies his trade in Belgium, and according to the Mirror (cited by Sky Sports), we’re set to go toe-to-toe with Merseyside rivals Everton for his services, with his club rating him at around £10m.

Last term, Teodorczyk notched 22 league goals and 30 in all competitions, but so would any of Liverpool’s current forwards if we were playing in such a league. In 2015/16, the forward was struggling in Ukraine, notching just six times during the entire campaign, hence why Dynamo Kiev loaned him to Anderlecht in the first place.

For us, it seems very unlikely that Teodorczyk would improve our starting XI, and we’d much prefer Danny Ings or the newly signing Dominic Solanke get chances.

There’s no guarantee that we actually are interested in the journeyman forward though, and prefer to pay attention to reports in the Express that we’ll meet with Alexandre Lacazette’s representatives this week to begin negotiations for a blockbuster transfer of Lyon’s hitman.
