Coutinho was arguably the best player on the pitch for Brazil against Australia today, captaining his country to a 4-0 friendly victory.
He didn’t score, but was the creative hub of everything good El Selecao did, playing in a central no.8 position – similar to the role he excelled in for Liverpool at the end of our Premier League campaign.
Watching him here is already making us mighty excited for next season. If he can stay fit and continue on the upward curve he’s clearly on, Coutinho could fire us to glory.
